MDT Response To Child Abuse Investigations

This is an introductory team-focused training for individuals who conduct child abuse investigations, as part of a current or emerging Child Advocacy Center or Multi-Disciplinary Interview Team (CAC/MDIT) in California. Eligible participants include those in law enforcement, prosecution/county counsel, social services/CPS, mental health and medical-sexual assault examiners and victim witnesses.

Neurodiversifying Interview Techniques

Polyvagal Theory 101: The Science of Connection and Stress Regulation

This training will provide an explanation of polyvagal theory and how it can affect our interactions. Participants will gain a better understanding of this and related theories along with practical ways to become more effective in working with those who have experienced trauma.

The California Child Abduction Training Project has created a hybrid Multi-disciplinary Child Abduction Intervention & Resource Training. This event introduces participants to a multi-disciplinary approach to assist professionals working within all facets of child abduction. The training provides an opportunity for county partners to increase their understanding of the roles of each agency and network with partner agencies towards a more coordinated response for missing and abducted children.
